3rd Annual Shon Owens Young STAR Awards

Event Details:
The Shon D. Owens Young STAR Awards(formally the Beaver County Young STAR Awards) is a vehicle to celebrate
the wonderful contributions and postivite achievements our young people bring to our community. This event will continue to
encourage them to sparkle bright like a STAR!!!
​This is also an opportunity to bring UNITY to our community!
We are divided by mascots, but we are one Beaver County! Our children are the future and let’s show them that we support them.
This event will provide an evening of storytelling and inspiration.
The Shon D. Owens Young STAR Awards will recognize those in our community
who continues to make a difference in their lives, giving back, creativity, and leadership. Scholarship opportunity is available for graduating seniors.
​Through these efforts we hope to inspire others to take up the call to continue the circle of serving others.
​Any student in grades 6th - 12th has a chance to be a Young STAR in their community!
