This week is a big one for the Village! From Tuesday the 20th through Saturday the 24th, we will be open during the Hookstown Fair, from noon to 8 pm!
While enjoying your time at the fair, take a quick detour to stroll through history! (Located in the northwest corner of the fairgrounds, beside the horse arena. Free admission to the village itself - donations appreciated).
The historical village will have blacksmithing and artisan demonstrations, brick oven cookies, and a number of local historians to share their knowledge. Visit the one-room school house, log cabin, general store, doctor's office, working oil well pump house, and the bank barn with displays/activities in both the upper and lower areas.
If you've ever desired a return to the simple life, you can become a member for only $10 annual dues!
